This recording marks Trio WoRK’s fifth year as a working trio. Playing throughout the pandemic in backyards and on patios, we “danced in the dark”! With an expanded repertoire and deepened synergy, we headed into the studio shortly after lockdown eased. We’re pleased to share our second album with you.

Our second offering reflects the growth of our collaboration, even as we dealt with the obstacles presented by the pandemic. We continued our reworking of tunes both familiar and obscure. I particularly enjoyed finding new rhythmic feels that freshen our new takes on these tunes. We hope you'll enjoy our collective efforts.

tom Rizzo:
Susan and Kenny ARE the music. This unlikely trio (no dedicated timekeeper) has allowed the three of us to find each other's pulse - a wonderful and unexpectedly fun way to make music together.

susan Krebs:
Seeking balance between our three distinct voices while intending to create a unique unified voice, I am ever grateful to Ken and Tom for our stimulating, collaborative adventures! Our alliance allows me to grow and thrive!
